Andrew is a founder and principal of SK and is involved in all aspect's of SK's investment activity. Prior to joining SK, Andrew was an Associate with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, a Canadian-based global law firm. In that capacity, he advised both domestic and international clients on a variety of securities and corporate matters
with a focus on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions.
Before joining Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, Andrew was a management consultant with Intersys Consulting in Mexico City.
Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta.
Andrew is a founder and principal of SK and is involved in all aspects of SK's investment activity. Prior to joining SK, Andrew was a sole practitioner in corporate finance and securities law. Andrew's securities work has included a wide variety of transactions, including initial public offerings, private placements of debt and equity financing, corporate reorganizations and cross-border financings. Prior to establishing his sole practice, Andrew worked as an Associate with Catalyst Corporate Finance Lawyers, a boutique securities law firm focused on building and financing young technology companies.
Prior to his work in securities law, Andrew worked as an Associate with Thorsteinssons, Canada's leading tax law firm, where he assisted clients with a variety of domestic and international corporate tax planning matters, compliance and litigation.
Andrew holds an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge, England, an LL.B. from the University of Alberta (Silver Medal).
